Entertainment One Promotes George Cappellini Jr to VP of Radio Promotion and Artist Development

Highlighting continued success across Rock, () has elevated radio promotions veteran George Cappellini Jr. to of Radio Promotion & Artist Development, effective immediately.

In this expanded role, Cappellini continues to oversee all rock radio promotion while extending duties across artist development for the growing roster. Currently based in New York, Cappellini will relocate to Nashville, TN, and continue to report to Scott , SVP of Rock and Metal. Cappellini Jr. expands the presence of management company, G&G Entertainment Consultants, to Nashville alongside his move.



Givens says, “George is a tireless executive who has helped build eOne’s rock business since he arrived here eight years ago. This promotion could not be more well-deserved. His move to our Nashville office will only help strengthen our partnership with G&G as we look towards continued success together.”

“For 15 years I have been able to do what I am most passionate about: discovering, developing, managing and promoting bands from the ground level up,” says Cappellini. “Perseverance has been the critical element in tackling the challenges of an ever-changing industry, and I look forward to continued success with incredible eOne leaders like Scott Givens, Sean Stevenson, and Chris Taylor and our outstanding team.”  

After graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2005, Cappellini took a role at Columbia Records, then moved to Detroit as regional promotion rep for Island/Def Jam, working with high-caliber artists such as Jay-Z, Rihanna, Kanye West, The Killers, Fall Out Boy, and Bon Jovi.

In 2007, he partnered with his father, George Cappellini Sr., to form an independent music management division, G&G Entertainment Consultants. The management company currently represents Pop Evil, Avatar, Red Sun Rising, and The Blue Stones.



During his time at eOne, Cappellini ushered in five number one rock singles, and has been instrumental in bolstering the careers of such acts as Pop Evil, Black Label Society, Avatar, The Blue Stones, Royal Tusk and numerous others.
