Elizabethany Named Assistant Program Director & Afternoon Host for HOT 99.5

HeartMedia , announced today that has been named and for HOT 99.5, DC’s No. 1 Hit Music Station & Home of “The Kane Show,” effective immediately. Washington, D.C. has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing more than six stations comprised of music, talk and news formats.

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across and delivers more live programming than any other media company. As Assistant Program Director, Elizabethany will assist in overseeing the station’s on-air and . She will also serve as the afternoon show host, broadcasting weekdays 4 – 7 p.m. through December 31and 2 – 7 p.m. beginning in January. Elizabethany will report to Rob Kruz, Program Director for HOT 99.5.

Elizabethany has served as the night host and Music Director for HOT 99.5 since 2013. She began her radio career at HOT 99.5 as an intern in 2008. Since then, she spent time at KNDE in College Station, TX and WVHT in Norfolk, VA.

“I thought I had my dream job when I got the night show working among the legends that are Toby Knapp and Kane,” said Elizabethany. “There aren’t words to describe how it feels to take over the legendary afternoon shift on HOT 99.5, my hometown station I grew up listening to!”
