DJ AM Tribute to Air on SiriusXM’s BPM Channel

 width=SiriusXM presents a weekend-long tribute celebrating the DJ’s career and music Tribute features rarely heard mixes from DJ (NASDAQ: ) announced today that it will pay tribute to DJ AM with a weekend-long special celebrating the life and career of the innovative and celebrated DJ. The DJ AM Tribute Weekend will air beginning Friday, March 4 at 5:00 pm ET through Sunday, March 6 at 12:00 am ET on BPM, channel 36 and XM channel 81. The weekend-long special on SiriusXM’s BPM channel will feature DJ AM’s own work, including many of his fan-favorite mixes, such as “Elton Mixes,” “Banana Split Mixes,” “Fix Your Face Volumes 1 & 2″ which were created with Blink 182’s Travis Barker; and other previously unheard and unreleased mixes. Listeners will also hear a series of mix tributes from DJ AM’s friends, including Steve Aoki, DJ Vice, A-Trak, DJ Mighty-Mi featuring Shecky Green & DJ Melo-D, DJ Scene, Cosmic Kids, Gina Turner and DJ Homicide. In demand throughout the country as well as a fixture in the night life scene, DJ AM held residencies at multiple clubs in the country, as well as the world over playing numerous special engagements and corporate events. Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein was already a fixture in the music world before his DJ’ing gigs took him global. He partnered with Travis Barker (Blink 182) to perform a live concert DJ/Drumming set, something never done before. He produced and starred in the series Gone Too Far, and is a character in the Activision game DJ HERO. He can be seen as himself in the movie Iron Man 2 which was dedicated to him. Additionally, he partnered with on the design of the limited edition DJ AM “Rivals Dunk” which was released in January 2010. The legacy of Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein is carried on through the DJ AM Memorial Fund. The foundation maintains the legacy of Adam and his commitment to helping others struggling with addiction.
