This is news that I almost don’t want to even post because I don’t want to give any shine whatsoever to George Zimmerman. This man had the audacity to shake hands, smile, and sign autographs at a central Florida gun show Saturday. There is really something wrong with the water in Florida that someone would even want his autograph and it speaks volumes about how we view young black life in this country.This man kills a kid – he has fans and he thinks of himself as a celebrity. There are black boys gunned down everyday in this country by other black boys and that is a tragedy in itself but to celebrate this man is the absolute epitome of hate, ignorance, and apathy toward the lives of young black men.Something has to change and it honestly it has to start with us.
