‘The Chronic’ drops raw realism and pays tribute to hip-hop virtuosity.“
– Rolling Stone

“’All Eyez on Me’, [is] one of the most sprawling, furious, paranoid,
 brilliant albums ever released.”

 – Pitchfork

“I’m definitely influenced by that album [Doggystyle]. The structure.
The cohesiveness. The skits. The flow. The melodies Snoop kicked. The raw raps. There wouldn’t be a Kendrick Lamar without ‘Doggystyle’.”

– Kendrick Lamar for XXL
