CZW was founded in 1999. The company originally built its reputation on a strong roster of homegrown talent, many of whom were culled from its own wrestling school, and a “hardcore” reputation. Shedding some of the hardcore in favor of a balanced mix of high-flying action, technical wrestling, and its tried and hardcore style, CZW has earned itself a reputation as one of the top independent wrestling organizations in the world.
