I see why Coach Gregg Popovich is has the longest tenure of active coaches in the .  There is a reason why he has five Championships.  There is a reason his teams are always competitive.  I’ve always thought the man of little words when it comes to interviews was a brilliant mastermind when it comes to basketball but I always knew it had to be deeper than X’s and O’s.  Now that I have witnessed this interview with Coach Pop, I understand why his message resonates with his players and beyond.  In this brief interview he delivers one of the most intellectual, truthful, and eloquent points regarding , , and player  protests.  Others have made these same points but when an NBA coach “gets it,” it’s refreshing to know that at least there are some that understand the world is bigger than their own personal experience.
