Baltimore is a city of about 600,000 residents with approximately 62% of those being Black people. The 7th District of Baltimore has definitely made national news as of late due to Donald Trump making terrible comments about the proud district back in 2019 when he called it “disgusting, rat and rodent-infested.”

Fast forward to election season, and Republican candidate and Trump supporter, Kimberly Klacik, who is running for a congressional seat in the 7th District pretty much doubled down on Trump’s comments but with a savage visual.

Klacik’s new “Black Lives Don’t Matter to Democrats” ad has been seen and shared by hundreds of thousands of people. She takes a brisk walk through the 7th District to prove her point while pointing out that Democrats have been in control for the last 50 years and the conditions are still terrible.

While these allegations are somewhat manipulative, some are still intrigued by the ad while others feel it continues to empower Trump’s racist rhetoric.

Klacik is running against incumbent Kweisi Mfume, who replaced Elijah Cummings after his death. She has a very steep hill to climb and most political pundits don’t think she has a chance but the ad is still savage and garnering attention.
