300 Entertainment is excited to announce the appointment of Leesa Brunson-Bolandas the Head of A&R Operations.
Leesa comes from Def Jam where she was the Senior Vice President of A&R Operations.
She is an industry veteran with experience spanning across 18 years and has worked with a range of talent including Teyana Taylor, Jeezy, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Fabolous, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Jhene Aiko, Logic, and more. Her career began in A&R at Elektra Records with Sylvia Rhone working with Busta Rhymes, Lil Mo, and Missy Elliot. In 2016, Leesa was honored as one of Billboard’s Women in Music.
In Leesa’s new role at 300 Entertainment, she will oversee the company’s A&R Operations Department, serving as a gatekeeper of the music, maintaining trusting relationships with artists and managers, and acting as a liaison with all other departments at the label. She will report to the company’s CEO and Co-Founder Kevin Liles.
Leesa reflected on her new role
