100.3 The BEAT takes on the Philadelphia Police and City Officials in Softball game

WHAT:          100.3 The BEAT on- will compete in a friendly game of softball against the Philadelphia Police during their annual 100.3 The BEAT Community Day Series.   The event in conjunction with Councilman Curtis Jones and State Senator Vincent Hughes will provide for up to 1,000 people, free water ice, a moon bounce for kids, face painting, and a variety of other games.   Community Day will start at 1pm and the softball game will take place from 3pm-6pm.   Mayor Michael Nutter is expected to attend along with other city officials.   Many officials are using this as a lasting opportunity to make an impression before the election this coming this Tuesday.



WHO:              100.3 The BEAT On-Air personalities: Michael Shawn, Kendra G, Mia Mendez, DJ Caesar, Greg Nitty, Members of the Star and BucWild Morning Show

Elected Officials: Councilman Curtis Jones and State Senator Vincent Hughes will play against the the .

1:00pm-6:00pm

WHERE:        Allegheny West at the Chalmers Park   (29 Chalmers Ave ““ One Block North of   29th and Lehigh.)
